Welcome to the Hatfeild Primary School website.

This year Hatfeild Primary School and Joseph Hood Primary School will continue working in a partnership model to benefit both schools.

Alice Waterman and Leanne Newman are the Co-Heads of School at Hatfeild and Mrs Saville, the Headteacher from Joseph Hood, is the Executive Head of both schools. This is an exciting time for both schools and the arrangement is one that we hope will enhance both school communities and continue into the future.

Hatfeild is a community school that places the children at the heart of all that we do. We set high expectations of our children both academically and socially, and we truly believe that we have a positive influence on our pupils’ aspirations both now and in the future. The children benefit from a stimulating and rewarding experience enriched by a wide variety of extracurricular activities, an enthusiastic and committed staff and a strong supportive partnership with parents. Our aim is to develop enquiring minds, a love of learning and an understanding of the diverse culture we live in.

Our board of dedicated governors brings a wide array of skills, knowledge and experience to the school.  The governors, committed to ensuring that we get the best for the children, play a full and active part in the life of the school.

Finding a school for your child at any stage of education is a significant process; we know that finding the right school is an important decision.
